Simu Feng

Simu Feng was born and raised in Shenyang, China. He graduated from Beijing Film Academy with an MA in cinematography after discovering his passion for filmmaking through image during college where he was majoring in Geophysics. His work comprises of a variety of commercials, music videos, short and feature films with different styles and genres which have screened at film festivals around the world. His thesis film at BFA, The Home Gleaners, won Best Short Film at the 2012 Taipei Golden Horse Awards, Asia's equivalent of the Academy Awards. Feng is also a recent graduate of the MFA cinematography program at the American Film Institute. His recent works include the 2017 hit web-series "Tientsin Mystic" which received great popularity and review in China and streaming on Netflix now. Feng is based in Los Angeles and Beijing, available for projects worldwide.
